Thorn was selected as the successful supplier of luminaires to this project as they were able to offer a complying and competitive package.
When selecting the luminaires the technically sound products Thorn have developed through their experience in the market was definitely a big plus when the decision was to be made.
The Thorn lighting design met all the requirements of our brief and the recommendations of Australian Standard AS1680. They were able to prove this by providing a detailed design throughout the installation where the Thorn products were to be used.
The engineering capabilities of Thorn were demonstrated in this project as modifications were needed to standard product to suit the challenging application.
Finally, having a Thorn technical office located close to the Barossa Valley area was of enormous benefit as they were able to attend site meetings to assist in the follow up technical support needed to complete this project.
