Every year FM Logistic assembles 900 million packs, produces 200 million consumer units and prepares 500 million parcels.

For its new 14,000m2 warehouse in Poland, FM Logistic's three key lighting objectives were to achieve 1) excellent lighting levels 2) high energy efficiency and 3) an attractive return on investment. Capable of achieving all three, Thorn's industrial HiPak Pro LED luminaire offered the ideal solution.

A trusted supplier and service provider

Pierre Jean Ramirez, Manager at General Contracting company, Fauche Polska, explains: "As a repeat Thorn Lighting customer, we turned to Thorn once again on the basis of luminaire energy efficiency, price and quality. Importantly however, we also trusted Thorn as a supplier and service provider.

"In addition to supplying lighting, the project involved making lighting and energy efficiency calculations, designing a luminaire control system and developing a maintenance plan for long-term savings."

Ideal for high level mounting applications, HiPak Pro LED (150W) is an energy saving industrial LED high bay luminaire which is up to 45 per cent more efficient than 250/400W alternatives. Efficient LEDs (93 Llm/W) and integral DALI light and movement control sensors maximise comfort and energy savings.

HiPak Pro's dedicated body profile and LED module design ensure excellent LED performance and lifetime. Individual optics provide instant light (150 lux) as well as precise light control in wide and rack distributions. A long 50,000-hour lifetime (@L70, Ta 25°C) also reduces maintenance demands and costs.

Aside from HiPak Pro, the outdoor area lighting surrounding the new warehouse is provided byThorn's Olsys Area luminaire. Olsys Area provides an exceptionally low cost of ownership with an optimised heat management system to provide a lifetime of up to 80,000 hours (@L70, Ta 25°C).
